FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention elates to alloyed steel used in making armor-piercing missile carcass. Invention proposes structural steel comprising the following components, wt.-%: carbon, 046-060; silicon, 0.17-0.37; manganese, 0.50-0.80; chrome, 0.80-2.00; molybdenum, 0.15-0.30; aluminum, above 0.1-0.15; titanium, 0.050.10; boron, 0.001 - less 0.003, or above 0.005-0.006, and iron, the balance. Proposed invention provides strengthening steel to the level of indices provided by technical requirements for exploitation in armor piercing with enhanced technological effectiveness in making missile carcasses.
EFFECT: improved and valuable technical properties of steel.
