FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises preparing fuel mixture, supplying fuel mixture to the detonation resonance chamber, and detonation burning of the fuel mixture in the pulsation regime. A part of the fuel mixture is directed to the partially enclosed detonation resonance chamber through the perforated wall of the partially enclosed detonation chamber. The electric potential is applied to the perforated wall, and the high-frequency detonation burning of the mixture is performed. The device comprises housing, blower, gas generator of the fuel mixture with members for supply and preparation of the fuel mixture, partially enclosed detonation resonance chamber, detonation initiator, and slot nozzle. The gas generator and partially enclosed detonation chamber are separated with a perforated wall to which an electric potential is applied.
EFFECT: reduced mass and enhanced reliability.
