FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has hemispherical cup having damping members placed on its internal surface. The damping members are shaped as concavo-convex menisci covering femoral head member hemisphere, turned convex parts towards internal surface of the cup. Rods are available in central regions of convex surfaces. The rods have aligning cylinders in their middle parts. The cylinders are movable back and forth in cylindrical cavities available in thickness of the cup and limited from both sides by supporting platforms. The platforms, turned towards the menisci, have apertures for receiving rods. Spiral compression springs are mounted on both sides of aligning cylinders, between them and supporting platforms, with partial stress.
EFFECT: improved treatment outcomes; reduced risk of aseptic instability under action of sign-variable loadings applied in different directions.
