FIELD: mechanical engineering; welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at single-pass welding of metals by coated stick electrodes to protect surfaces of articles under welding and technological equipment from welding dribbles. Coating includes components at the following ratio, g per liter of water: powder-like technical commercial lignosulfonate 80-100; nitrofurazone 1 - 3; glycerin 90 - 110.
EFFECT: reduced number of difficult-to-remove dribbles at welding of vertical and inclined seams on articles, prevention of following down of composition from surface of article at welding, increased duration of storing of ready composition.
