FIELD: welding jobs.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in coatings intended for reducing electrode metal sputtering and protecting surfaces of workpieces being welded from melt metal sparge. The proposed coating contains the components in ratios that follow, in grams per 1 liter of water, i.e. powder-like technical lignosulphonate makes 140 to 160, soda ash makes 40 to 50, sapropel makes 50 to 80, potassium iodide makes 25 to 75.
EFFECT: reduced sputtering, improved protection of surfaces being welded.
