FIELD: aircraft manufacture.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method is characterized by forming the air vortex above propeller disk which is crossed temporarily by compressed air jet over radius from propeller periphery towards axis of rotation in parallel with its middle disk. Jet is accelerated to speed equal to rotational speed of propeller. Mass of jet is so proportioned that its kinetic energy is approximately equal to kinetic energy of generating center vortex. Jet is formed as partition crossing peripheral part of disk and rising above it at height of average generating vortex to required reduction of intensity of rotation of vortex formation and restoration of propeller lifting force. Device proposed for realization of this method consists of one or several partitions provided with nozzle of compressed air system at the end directed to propeller axis; compressed air system consists of compressed air source, pipe line and valve.
EFFECT: improved aerodynamic characteristics of propeller.
