SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for gripping and displacing objects at machining. Proposed device has protective sleeve 7 made for sliding in longitudinal direction relative to gripping device 20 by means of operator for shifting said protective sleeve 7 between first position, in which preset part of object near open end is not covered, and second position, in which preset part of object near open end is covered. Gripping device 20 is made for gripping independently from sliding of sleeve and holding of object from inside of its open end.

EFFECT: improved protection of object at machining.
