FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy, namely production of alloys of lead, calcium, tin, aluminum, possibly in electrical engineering, storage cell making, electrochemical industry branches.
SUBSTANCE: lead-calcium alloys are produced in temperature range 400 - 550°C. At first predetermined quantity of tin is added to lead and then calcium is added in the form of aluminum-calcium master alloy containing aluminum with concentration in range 10-20 mass %.
EFFECT: possibility for producing lead-calcium alloy with target content of each ingredient, shortened duration of process without use of high-cost reagents and aggressive media.
