FIELD: oil production, particularly operation of oil producing well provided with deep-well sucker-rod pump.
SUBSTANCE: method involves lifting oil to well head via flow string by means of deep-well pump connected to stem and suspended in well; determining load acting on the stem and calculating time of stem operation in well; determining degree of stem wear and setting critical value of stem wear degree. Prior to above critical stem wear degree reaching well is shut-in, stem with deep-well pump is removed from well and stem is separated into several sections, wherein each section includes stem parts with equal diameters. Then rod location in each stem section is inverted so that the first section becomes the last one, the second section becomes next to last and so on. The newly assembled stem provided with deep-well pump is lowered in well and well operation is continued.
EFFECT: increased stem service life.
