FIELD: power plant engineering; wind-power machines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes air flow braking, conversion of air head potential into kinetic energy of jets, and setting of electric generator rotor into rotary motion, as well as conversion of jet energy into electricity; electric generator is provided with its external load control device[ air flow kinetic energy is picked off by means of reaction turbine made in the form of two disks spaced apart which mount radial yards, sails put on adjacent yards, and bandage attached to ends of yards; air flow braking is effected over entire blade-swept surface of turbine; electric generator used for the purpose is externally excited multipole axial-flow synchronous machine mounted on platform and kinematically coupled with turbine through belt transmission pulley; device controlling generator external load is provided with transducer that functions to measure aerodynamic pressure upstream of turbine.
EFFECT: enhanced amount of energy extracted from turbulizing air flow.
