FIELD: photo-thermal spectroscopy.

SUBSTANCE: method can be used for determining spectra of liquids and solid bodies. Layer of tested liquid is placed onto solid substrate, which doesn't absorb light, or layer of transparent liquid is applied onto solid tested substrate. Tested liquid or tested substrate is irradiated by beam of wave-tuned laser which results in thermal-capillary deepening is formed in layer of liquid. Absorption factor of tested liquid or of tested substrate at preset wavelengths is determined by measuring diameter of interference pattern emerging onto screen at lateral section of laser beam reflected from thermal-capillary deepening.

EFFECT: ability of testing of solid and liquid samples in closed spaces of engineering plants.
