FIELD: particle accelerators.
SUBSTANCE: proposed particle accelerator designed for generating charged particles to be accelerated, at least one cyclotron used for accelerating particles leaving particle source, at least one starting device intended for acting upon beam particles prior to their acceleration in cyclotron, at least one transducer designed to give information about current through beam particles accelerated by cyclotron, and numeric control device that functions to actuate starting device in response to information arriving from transducer in compliance with mechanism of time-dependent numeric control over accelerated particle beam to ensure that current through particle beam escaping cyclotron obeys numeric control mechanism.
EFFECT: provision for producing desired time-dependent current through accelerated particle beam, enhanced precision of power supply to accelerator-controlled systems.
