FIELD: ferrous metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preparing mixture of gunite mass and water; feeding prepared mixture to guniting zone; layer by layer applying prepared mixture by means of compressed air flow onto working refractory lining of intermediate ladle. Relation of solid phase to liquid phase in such mixture is in range 5.7 - 1.5. Mixture is applied by layer with thickness 5 - 40 mm and temperature of working lining is kept at level 40 - 110°C. Mixture containing higher content of solid phase is applied on working lining with higher temperature and by layer with larger thickness and vice versa.

EFFECT: stability of applied layer of mixture at different temperature values of working lining, shortened time period for preparing intermediate ladle to guniting.
