FIELD: sonobuoys for studies of world ocean.
SUBSTANCE: proposed sonobuoy has hermetic body, electronic modules of measuring and control devices, detection devices, separable ballast weight and hydrostatic disconnectors mounted on separable ballast weight. In the aft section of buoy there are two coaxial blind holes on opposite sides where ends of rods of hydrostatic disconnector pistons are mounted; they include hydraulic cylinders with rods-pistons, compression springs and adjusting screws. Hydraulic cylinders have through holes for admitting sea water to before-piston cavity. Such construction of buoy makes it possible to submerge it to assigned depth and to surface due to natural gravitational forces and hydrostatic pressure of water with no consumption of onboard power.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; reduced power requirements.
