FIELD: mining industry, in particular, underground development of deposits and packing of mined-out space.

SUBSTANCE: thrower has driving, driven, pressure and tension drums, endless belt adapted for embracing said drums, and feeding hopper, and is further provided with runaway drum and ring, which are located between feeding hopper and endless belt. Runaway drum is made in the form of cylinder fixed on shaft. Ring has discharge flare. Runaway drum and ring have walls provided with similar openings and made in the form of circular segment. Openings may be aligned. Height b of discharge openings is accepted to be equal to 4d_max, width c is equal to 6d_max, where d_max is maximum diameter of lump. Angle α of inclination to horizontal plane of endless belt portion between tension and driving drums are accepted to be equal to 23 deg.

EFFECT: increased remoteness of throwing of material used for packing of mined-out space.
