FIELD: mining industry, in particular, bulk material throwing technique used in underground mining of deposits and filling of mined out space.
SUBSTANCE: thrower has driving, driven, pressing and stretching drums, endless belt running around said drums, charging hopper, accelerating drum located between charging hopper and endless belt and formed as truncated cone incorporating screw. Accelerating drum is equipped with opening formed as segment provided through truncated cone wall, at its base. Height of discharge opening b=4dmax, width c=6dmax, where dmax is maximum diameter of lump, angle β is equal to half the angle at cone apex, i.e., within the range of 17-25 deg. Angle α of inclination to horizontal part of endless belt portion between stretching and driving drums is accepted to be 23 deg.
EFFECT: increased distance by which lumps of filling material are thrown.
