SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the ceramic composite materials and can be used at production of the assemblies and details of the hot tract of the gas-turbine engines, for example, the sealing rings for the gas-and petroleum pumping stations, the bushes, the valves of the heat exchangers, the recuperators working at the temperatures up to 1500°С in the mechanical engineering and the aerospace engineering. The technical result of the invention is the increased heat-resistance of the composite material and the articles made out of the material at the operational temperature of 1500°С and conservation of the initial strength of the articles after this temperature action, that allows to increase the reliability and the operational life of the articles. The composite material contains the carbon fibers and the die containing the silicon carbide, carbon, silicon and silicon tetraboride at the following ratio of the dye components (in mass %): Si - 20-35, carbon - 25-40,SiB4 - 2-6, SiC - the rest. The article is made out of the indicated composite material.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased heat-resistance of the composite material and the articles made out of it, the increased reliability and the operational life of the articles.
