FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ceramic composite materials and can be used in making heat loaded units and components of working apparatus of gas turbines, gas conduits of power generating units etc, working at temperature of 1350°C. Proposed is a ceramic composite material which contains a matrix and carbon fibres. The matrix has the following chemical composition, in wt %: Si 20-30, C 25-35, SiB4 0.1-1.5, SiO2 6-9, B2O3 3-9, SiC - the rest.
EFFECT: increased heat resistance of the composite material at working temperature of 1350°C for a long period of time (over 100 hours) and increased reliability and service life of the objects.
