FIELD: mining industry; other industries; devices for initiation of the low-power detonating cords.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the means of initiation of the low-power detonating cords of "the shock-wave tube" type with the help of the electric devices and may be used in the mining industry, and also in other branches of the national economy. The invention offers the device for initiation of "the shock-wave tube" (SWT), in which the body is made with the through opening for coaxial arrangement in it from the opposite sides of the SWT and the external electrode and with the hole for the combustion products withdrawal located perpendicularly to the axis of the through opening in the area of the SWT and the external electrode contact. The external electrode is made in the form of the bush with the cap of the conical form located inside the SWT channel. Inside the external electrode there are mounted with the capability to create the electrical discharge initiating the SWT the internal electrode and the dielectric insulator arranged between the internal and external electrodes. The technical result of the invention is the increased reliability of initiation of the "the shock-wave tube", reduction of the pollution degree of the spark spacer and the increased operational life of the device for initiation of "the shock-wave tube".

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased reliability of initiation of the "the shock-wave tube", reduction of the pollution degree of the spark spacer and the increased operational life of the device for initiation of the "the shock-wave tube".
