FIELD: organic chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to improved method for production of dicarboxylic acids, such as adipinic acid from cyclohexane. Claimed method includes the first step of cyclohexane oxidation to cyclohexyl hydroperoxide with oxygen or oxygen-containing gas; the second step of reaction medium concentration to produce cyclohexyl hydroperoxide by separation of at least part of non-oxidized hydrocarbons; and the third step of cyclohexyl hydroperoxide oxidation to dicarboxylic acids with oxidizing agent containing molecular oxygen in presence of oxidation catalyst.
EFFECT: method of high selectivity without using of nitric acid and absence of nitrogen oxide waste.
