FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly water-retaining dams for immediate industrial, civil, military and other objects protection against water flooding.
SUBSTANCE: method involves constructing water-retaining dam on ground base in front of flood water front, wherein the water-retaining dam includes a number of flexible shells connected with each other by water-tight seam provided with water-tight screen made of flexible web and filled with filling material. To realize above method forced drainage system in arranged in ground base. Water-tight screen and flexible shells are laid on ground base. The shells are filled with quick-hardening foaming substance to impart three-dimensional shapes to the shells. Then the shells are connected with water-tight screen to create water-tight seam. After that the shells are fastened to ground base by means of anchors to prevent shell emersion.
EFFECT: increased reliability of object protection against flooding.
