FIELD: mining industry, possible use for extracting steep coal formations of average thickness with usage of underground space for storing industrial waste.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, firstly wells are drill from surface to formation, then formation is prepared for coal extraction by shield machine with driving of ascending drifts and leaving of bodies near that well. in next shield column during driving of ascending drifts, artificial supports are mounted using windows in lining sections, held by anchors from sliding down along fall of formation. Supports are erected and left behind rock extraction machine in cleaning face for supporting extracted space. Extracted space is filled with industrial wastes, which are then burned in fire face.
EFFECT: complex and rational usage of underground space and utilization of industrial wastes while decreasing load on natural environment.
