FIELD: mining, particularly for underground development of steep seams having medium thicknesses.

SUBSTANCE: method involves drilling sublevel and rise entries; cutting seam in several sublevels along the strike with the use of powered mining complex and filling goaf with filler under gravity. Flexible covering member is previously laid on sublevel entry ground and the second sublevel entry is drilled from flange slope. The second sublevel entry is reinforced with cutting-off row and chocks. Filler supply openings are left. Chambers are formed in pillar under vent entry for filler supply to upper sublevel. Simultaneously upper face in vented in reverse-flow manner and lower face is vented in direct-flow manner.

EFFECT: increased labor productivity and mining safety.
