FIELD: laboratory equipment used in dairy farming.
SUBSTANCE: milking unit testing stand has frame, reservoir with milk simulating liquid, teat simulating devices onto which teat cups are put, pump with electric engine, and computer. Electric engine of pump for pumping out of milk simulating liquid is switched-on by means of control button on time relay. Milk simulating liquid sensors are provided on pipeline for feeding of milk simulating liquid into udder simulating device and on milk hose for communicating teat simulating devices with milk bucket. Signals generated by milk simulating liquid flow rate sensors and electric manometer are sent to computer, which processes said signals for determining pressure within reservoir containing milk simulating liquid, and signals generated by tensometer are processed by computer for determining weight of conveyed milk simulating liquid. Stand of such construction allows milk delivery intensity within different groups of animals and conveying capacity of milking unit to be compared and practical recommendations in selecting of milking units to be given.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction.
