FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: rotary internal combustion engine includes housing, side covers, rotor with radial blade, combustion chamber, precompression box, separating plates and inlet and outlet holes. Combustion chamber and precompression box is located outside the housing cavity. Precompression box is connected to combustion chamber through bypass valve. Rotor has annular flanges dividing inner cylindrical cavity of housing into fuel mixture compartment and working compartment. Fuel mixture compartment is separated with radial rotor blade into suction and compression cavities. Working compartment is divided with radial blade into expansion cavity and outlet cavity. One plate is installed in combustion chamber, and the other one is installed in precompression box. Separating plates are made in the form of pistons. Surface of each separating plate-piston, which is in constant contact with rotor under action of excess pressure in chambers is profiled to provide lifting and lowering of plate-piston when radial plate passes without loss of contact with its surface. Inlet hole is made in plate-piston located in precompression box. Outlet hole is made in plate-piston located in combustion chamber. In body of each plate-piston there is additional channel by means of which combustion chamber is interconnected with expansion cavity, and compression cavity is interconnected with precompression cavity; at that, the last channel is equipped with return valve.
EFFECT: improving efficiency and simplifying the engine design.
