FIELD: engine technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine building. A rotary internal combustion engine (ICE) contains a stator (1) with an internal cylindrical surface hermetically sealed at the ends, having inlet (12) and outlet (13) openings. The rotor (2) has cam projections (4). The movable partitions (5) are preloaded to the rotor (2). The pre-chamber (14) and the combustion chamber (15) are made on the stator (1) on both sides of one of the movable partitions (5) and are interconnected by a channel (16) of a bypass valve (17) connected to the rod (18) with a window (19), which is fixed on a movable partition (5). The pre-chamber (14) communicates with the compression chamber (9) through a check valve (20), and the combustion chamber (15) communicates with the working stroke chamber (10) through the nozzle (21). In addition, the combustion chamber (15) is designed with the possibility of isochoric combustion of the combustible mixture in a locked combustion chamber.
EFFECT: reduction in specific fuel consumption and an increase in engine power, as well as a decrease in the temperature of the walls of the combustion chamber.
