FIELD: measuring technique.
SUBSTANCE: method can be used for measuring concentration of defects as micro-pores of microscopic cracks arisen during plastic deformation of material. When measuring concentration of defects at plastic deformation of materials during process of power influence, number of acts of acoustic emission Na is registered as well as residual deformation ε. Then point of beginning of destruction, destruction component of deformation εd and concentration of defects according to relation of c=εd/ε is found from dependence of parameters of acoustic emission on residual deformation in form of Na=f(√ε).
EFFECT: increased precision of measurement.
