FIELD: analysis of materials by determination of their physical properties, determination of mechanical state of loaded materials, their longevity. SUBSTANCE: method ca be used for prediction of time to emergence of pre-breakage state as result of non-localized accumulation of cracks in parts of machines. Signals o acoustic emission from forming cracks are recorded and their time characteristics are measured. Summary counting of acoustic emission till specimen of material with volume Vo breaks is measured. Volume V of region of recording of acoustic emission and time intervals Δ between subsequent signals of acoustic emission are measured in tested loaded material. Time to emergence of pre- breakage state is determined as sum of all Δ values to value corresponding to summary counting . EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of method. 1 dwg
