FIELD: oil geology, in particular, finding and surveying of oil and gas deposits.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, at training object (for raising with known oil content as close as possible to research subject) in the area of oil well, surface-adjacent gas-geochemical standardizing is performed (samples are taken from argillaceous surface-adjacent intervals up to 5 meters deep) across an even 400×400 meters grid. Then, analysis of composition of hydrocarbon gas of all gathered argillaceous samples (natural absorbent) is performed, in accordance to chromatographic method, hydrocarbon compositions ranging from methane to hexane are studied. Quantitative and qualitative estimation of samples is performed with usage of statistical processing of whole collected material with consideration of geological features of given region, structural composition and tectonic disruptions, as well as computations of background values of gas-geochemical coefficients and of hydrocarbon gas contrast coefficients, as well as comparison to gas-geochemical signs of oil object. Results of gas-geochemical research are subjected to mathematical processing. Priority selections of given samples are as follows: whole area, zone of seismic raising in question, zone of fractures (tectonic irregularities), training zone of oil object, geochemical anomaly. In accordance to algorithm of training system, model of probable oil content of researched area is built. Conclusion concerning probable oil content of researched object is drawn on basis of comparison of results to characteristics of object with proven oil content.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of geological survey process.
