FIELD: oil geology, in particular, finding, surveying and contouring of oil-gas deposits.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to invention, method is realized by comparison of complex of geophysical and gas-geochemical signs of subject high (object), with usage of mathematical probability-statistical interpretation, with complex of similar signs of standard object (high with proven oil content). On basis of complex of geophysical geochemical data, map of prognosis oil content is built. Then, in accordance to training system algorithm, multilayer model of probable oil content of research area is built, oil content contour is selected with following deep drilling within that contour.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of prospecting process.
