FIELD: agriculture, in particular, post-harvest treatment and storage of grain mass.
SUBSTANCE: method involves placing grain mass into chamber housing; cooling refrigerant and feeding it into channels provided within chamber housing. Cooling of refrigerant in the form of electrolyte solution is performed within cooling or refrigerating unit. Refrigerant circulating through channels cools grain mass and absorbs water vapors and/or carbon dioxide from atmosphere of chamber without direct contacting of refrigerant with products to be cooled.
EFFECT: reduced content of carbon dioxide in gaseous medium of storage without necessity for forced ventilation, provision for maintaining of stable temperature within storage to thereby reduce losses of nutrient substances in stored grain product.
