FIELD: drying devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food, microbiological and chemical industry and can be used for sublimation drying of frozen solutions or suspensions, sublimation drying of frozen food products. Vacuum sublimation drying installation comprises a vacuum chamber, in which a drying compartment with a sublimation dried product is located, an ice condenser is located in close proximity to the drying compartment and one or more gas blowing devices, as well as vacuum post and vacuum condensate collector located outside the chamber. Ice condenser is divided into sections made with possibility of independent operation mode; sections or groups of sections are separated from the working volume of the chamber by sealed and semi-tight (for example, louvre) partitions made with possibility of automatic opening-closing; each section or group of sections of the ice condenser is connected to a separate gas blowing device or connected to a common gas blowing device by a separate channel equipped with an automatic gate valve; each section or group of sections of the ice condenser is equipped with a separate branch of the drainage channel connecting the sections with the vacuum condensate collector; each section or group of sections of the ice condenser is equipped with a device or mechanism providing for defrosting of frozen ice.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to perform periodic cleaning of cooling surfaces of ice condenser sections from a layer of frozen ice and at the same time to maintain parameters of medium in other zones of vacuum chamber at the level corresponding to conditions of sublimation drying of loaded product.
