FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: arranging active positions of walking source in metracolpostat "Ring Applicator Sets" applicator. Ring-shaped colpostat diameter equal to 30 mm and length equal to 40 mm with metrastat and ring being inclined, is selected in metrastat device of "Microselectron HDR" and dosimetric plan having 10 active positions is used. The positions are distributed over each ring side in combination 1 being 2.5 mm far, 3 and then 2.5 mm far from each other in ring-shaped colpostat and having 9 active positions uniformly spaced 5 mm far from each other in iridium-192 walking source metrastat with step size equal to 2.5 mm.
EFFECT: reduced risk of malignant tumor relapse.
