FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to trailer-train braking automatic control systems. According to proposed method, signals characterizing wheels-to-road adhesion, automatic release/application of wheel brakes, and repetition of these operations during entire period of braking are constantly measured, processed and analyzed. Signals characterizing modulus of power interaction of trailer-train members are measured and processed and operations of automatic application/release of wheel brakes of prime mover are carried out if modulus of said force exceeds modulus of wheel-to-road adhesion of prime mover. Operations of automatic release/application of wheel brakes are carried out entire period of braking and are completed when modulus of mutual interaction force corresponds to force of adhesion of wheels of prime moved and road.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of braking and stability of trailer train at controlled braking.
