FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in traffic control light signals. Proposed method includes forming of color clear and danger signals in information zone of light signal panel by reflecting of light beams of surrounding space from information zone of panel under normal illumination conditions. At higher brightness of panel background, beams are directed to its information zone which provided brightness of information zone commensurable with brightness of panel background. At poor illumination conditions, beams from artificial illuminator are directed to information zone. To increase brightness of information zone, said beams are preliminarily focused.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption, increased reliability of perception of signal at any hour round the clock.
