FIELD: aircraft ground servicing; aircraft transportation facilities.
SUBSTANCE: proposed transportation facility includes tractor 1 equipped with stationary power plant 2, carrier 4 connected with tractor body and provided with grip at its end which is engageable with nose undercarriage leg of aircraft. Secured to main undercarriage legs is mechanism of quickly detachable unit for transmitting the torque to aircraft undercarriage wheels; this mechanism includes gearbox and hydraulic motors; this mechanism converts the energy of power plant into torque applied to main leg wheels which become driving wheels at the moment of transportation.
EFFECT: increase of useful thrust; enhanced passability.
