FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method involves providing line of drops on field, said line being aligned with ferromagnetic trace indicators; registering on ferromagnetic medium data on plant location place along row axis by recording signal in the form of short modulated electromagnetic pulse indicating the moment of contacting of each plant with soil during planting; hoeing plant rows. Signal is recorded using magnetic recording head of planting machine such as tractor combined with planting tools. Hoeing is carried out using hoeing unit formed as tractor combined with rotary type tillage tools mounted for rotation in horizontal plane and brought apart within the width of protective zone of rows of hoeing knives equipped with magnetically responsive sensors enabling reading of signal registered during planting procedure. Sensors are kinematically connected through magnetic signal amplifiers with actuating mechanisms of tillage tools.
EFFECT: increased efficiency owing to elimination of employment of manual labor in hoeing of protective zones of cultivated tilled crops.
