SUBSTANCE: invention concerns agriculture, particularly melioration of tilled crops in drip irrigation systems. The method of weed elimination in the row protective zone of tilled crops involves laying irrigation pipes with trickles combined with water magnetising devices, and a tractor with soil tilling device, traveling along the pipes. The soil tilling device includes weeding sections in the form of weeding knives rotating on vertical supports and opening within the row protective zone. The knives are equipped with magnetosensitive sensors connected cinematically to the knives turning unit via multichannel amplifier. During sowing the crops are planted in the center of each trickle reach zone. The magnetosensitive sensors comprise rods covering the traverse borders of irrigation pipes layout. The sensors are installed at the weeding sections in traverse vertical plane above the irrigation pipes level, behind rotation axes of vertical supports in front of the joining point of weeding knives ends.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of weed elimination in tilled crops cultivation with the help of drip irrigation.
