SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to tillage methods. The method includes cultivation of crops carried out to a depth of up to 6 cm, the unevenness of the processing depth does not exceed ±1.0 cm, and damage to cultivated plants does not exceed 1%. Simultaneously with cultivation, strip compaction is carried out with weeder tines of the soil layer located 2.0 cm below the depth of tillage on both sides of the row, with a strip width of 0.5-1.5 cm.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the moisture level in the root system zone by creating capillaries on both sides of the row.
