FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: method involves applying gel "Nikofleks" on skin region disposed on shoulder that is opposite to damaged eye. Then effect by direct current is carried out using electrodes for 20 min per one procedure through water-wetted linings. The current power value is increased gradually based on a patient sensation from 1 mA to 5 mA for the treatment course for 5-10 procedures carried out every day. Method provides reducing time of patient hospitalization. Invention is designated for treatment of autoimmune diseases of eyes.
EFFECT: improved method of treatment.
