FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: 2-48 h before the operation, Nd:YAG laser exposure is provided with a wavelength of 1064 nm, pulses delivered in a quasi-continuous mode with a pulse energy of 7-8 mJ. A target beam is focused on an avascular area of the sclera with the laser focus displaced forward from a target point. In the upper hemisphere of the eye, 3-4 mm apart from the sulcus, rows of non-penetrating scleral transconjunctival applications are provided until retrograde current of form elements in water veins of the affected zone is reached.
EFFECT: increased effectiveness of prevention of reactive hypertension, accelerated rehabilitation of patients after cataract phacoemulsification.
