FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment preventing unauthorized use or high-jacking of vehicles. Proposed antitheft device has housing installed for turning relative to body in plane of turning of vehicle pedal. Housing accommodates rod installed for longitudinal displacement. Rod is hinge coupled with vehicle pedal. Plate is freely fitted on rod, being spring loaded relative to housing. Pusher is installed in housing to change angular position of plate relative to rod for locking antitheft device rod relative to housing in operating position. Pusher is coupled with displacement mechanism provided with lock.
EFFECT: improved reliability, simplified design, convenience in operation.
