FIELD: metallurgy industry; by-product-coking industry; other industries; production of the compositions of the mixtures used for the hot repairs of the blast-furnace brickwork.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the compositions of the mixtures used for the hot repairs of the blast-furnace brickwork by the method of the self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SPS) and may be used in metallurgy industry, by-product-coking industry, other industries. The technical result of the invention is the increased thermal resistance of the blast-furnace brickwork. The mixture for the welding surfacing and welding together of the chamotte and the silica contains the components taken in the following ratio (in mass %): the aluminum powder - 10.0-35.0; the powder of silicon - 10.0-19.5; the powder of ferric oxide - 50.0-75.0; the powder of electrocorundum - 0.5-2.0 and the powder of silica - 4.0-15.0 (over 100 %). The mixture is fed with the help of the air onto the heated up to the temperature of 900°С the blast-furnace brickwork, originate the process of the self-propagating high-temperature synthesis and conduct sintering of the mixture with production of the ceramic bond. The mixture is fed by two streams, one of which is the air stream, and the second is the air-powder stream, both of which are directed by the device for the welding surfacing onto the brickwork of the coking chamber. At that the air pressure in the airflow compounds 1.5-2.0 gage atmosphere, and in the airflow-powder stream - 0.15-0.40 gage atmosphere.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased thermal resistance of the blast-furnace brickwork.
