FIELD: railway transport; tie tampers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed tie tamping contains framework, levers hinge-fastened on framework and carrying tamping tools, vibrodrive consisting of housing, eccentric shaft installed in housing, hydraulic motor connected with one end of eccentric shaft, at least one flywheel coupled with eccentric shaft and hydraulic system connected with hydraulic motor and hydraulic cylinders. Spherical bearings are installed on eccentric shaft, each bearing being coupled through connecting rod and hydraulic cylinder with corresponding lever carrying one tamping tool. Ball joints are used to coupled hydraulic cylinders with levers, and sliding bearing are used to fasten levers on framework. Outer races of said bearings are installed in hub of each lever. Inner race of said bearings is made in form of axle for adjacent levers which is installed on framework by detachable joint and made stepped, with number of steps equal to number of fitted-on levers. Grooves made on side surface of axle are placed in communication with hydraulic system by channels. Invention improves reliability of tie-tamping unit owing to provision of better operating conditions of its bearing units and joints, more uniform compacting of ballast at asynchronous tamping of ballast by each tamping tool, facilitated mounting, demounting and repair of tie tamping units, reduced cost of repair owing to use of unified vibration modules in manufacture of tie-tamping units of different application.
EFFECT: improved reliability of tie-tamping unit.
