APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING OF RAW FODDER MATERIAL FOR PRODUCING OF FEED Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A23N17/00 

FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, technique used in animal farming for processing of fodder raw material for producing of feed.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has U-shaped unit with two vertical columns. Apparatus is provided with charging, discharging and heating devices. Columns are filled with suspension of raw material and are connected with one another in their upper parts through steam pipeline. Electromagnetic valve mounted on steam pipeline is adapted for equalizing of suspension level. Sensors positioned within column covers are adapted for controlling of lower and upper levels of suspension within reservoir. Pressure gauges are also positioned within column covers. One of columns is communicating with mixer and incorporates additional valve for pressure relieving and electromagnetic valve for additional pulsed feeding of open steam. Heating device is made in the form of valve for feeding of overheated open steam. Charging device is positioned in mid portion of one of said columns, and discharge device is positioned within lower part of other column. Sensors and electromagnetic valve are connected to control unit. Electromagnetic valves operate in opposite phase.

EFFECT: improved quality of feed produced from raw material.
