FIELD: pipeline engineering.
SUBSTANCE: nondetachable joint comprises bandage set in the bulk of polymeric bushing and made of three-dimensional reinforcing frame equivalent to the three-dimensional reinforcing frame of pipes. The frame is made of chute-like members welded one to the other along the generatrices defined by longitudinal wire members of the three-dimensional frame. The inner diameter of the bandage is no less than that of the metal-containing plastic pipe. The method comprises making the bandage from a three-dimensional reinforcing frame, cutting the bandage into at least two chute-like members along the longitudinal members of the three-dimensional frame, mounting both of the members on the cylindrical surfaces of the bushing, heating the members up to a temperature that exceeds the temperature of softening of the polymer, pressing the members into the polymer until a given structure of bandage is obtained and frame cells are completely filled with the polymer, removing polymer from the end longitudinal members of the bandage, and welding the members.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of joint and simplified method of assembling.
