FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of high-strength polymer pipes reinforced by metal carcass, particularly, to method of continuous production of metal-polymer reinforced pipe by extrusion. Proposed method comprises feeding the polymer melt from extrusion die into forming cavity composed by cooled mandrel and outer forming tube at simultaneous feed of welded reinforcement carcass in said cavity. Heat-resistant nonmetal sleeve is set ahead of mandrel before extrusion. Inner and outer surface of pipe being extruded are cooled. Note here that roll electrode is used to make a coil from transverse reinforcement elements. Electrode roll allows a constant hold-down of transverse reinforcement elements to lengthwise reinforcement elements by hydraulic drive force. In welding, impact pulses are fed to roll electrode timed with moment of intercrossing of both crosswise and lengthwise reinforcement elements and with current pulse feed to said electrode.
EFFECT: higher quality, strength and durability, higher process efficiency.
