FIELD: pulp and paper industry; production of the sheet material or the roll material or the laminate material.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of mechanical working of the sheet material or the roll material or the laminate materials, in particular, to the tools of the mechanical deformations of the materials without their removal, for example, for embossing. The calender contains: the base and the driving shaft fixed on the base, the drive of the driving shaft and, at least, one driven shaft fixed on the base. At that the driving and driven shafts have the seamy surface with the intercrossing alternating pits and bulges converging from the foundation to the vertex. The seamy surface of the driven shaft is made with the possibility to interact with the adjacent seamy surface of the driving shaft. At that the seamy surfaces of the driving and driven shafts are made with the grooves, which one are located in the pits between the bulges and which are conjugated with the contour the foundations of the bulges. Vertexes of the bulges are made with the possibility of their arrangement in the grooves in the position of interaction of the adjacent bulges. At that the grooves of the driven shaft have the direction intersecting the direction of the grooves of the driving shaft in the position of interaction of the adjacent bulges. The presented invention ensures the high-accuracy embossing with the various arrangement of the relief components at the decreased spacing interval between the relief components.
