FIELD: printing industry; production of the embossing devices.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to machining of the sheet-type or the roll-type or the laminate material, in particular, to the tools of the mechanic deformation without the stuff removal, for example, for stamping. The embossing device contains the stand and the fixes on it driving shaft, the drive of the driving shaft and, at least, one driven shaft. At that the driving shaft and the driven shaft have the fluted surface with the mutually intercrossing rows of the alternating recesses and the cogs contracting from the base to the vertex. The driven shaft fluted surface is made with the capability of interaction with adjacent fluted surface of the driving shaft. At that the rows of the vertexes of the cogs of the fluted surface of one shaft are arranged in parallel to the shaft rotation axis and the rows of the vertexes of the cogs of the fluted surface of the other shaft are disposed at the angle distinct from the right angle to the shaft rotation axis. At that the spacing interval between two adjacent vertexes of the cogs of the fluted surface of one shaft is more than the spacing interval between two adjacent vertexes of the cogs of the fluted surface of other shaft. The present invention ensures the self-stabilization of the shafts and also production of the high-accuracy embossing with the different location of the embossing relief elements at the reduction of the spacing interval between them.
