FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical equipment of urban transport, particularly, street cars. Proposed supply source of low-voltage circuits of street car contains converter transforming voltage of contact system into voltage to charge storage battery and supply low-voltage circuit and parallel-connected storage battery. Connected to plus terminals of the latter are low-voltage circuits and series-connected current-limiting resistor, diode and capacitor connected by one lead to common negative of voltage converter, storage battery and low-voltage circuits of street car and by other, through current-limiting resistor and diode, to their plus leads. Electronic switch with additional current-limiting resistor controlled by pulse power consumption sensor and voltage sensor is connected additional into circuit between plus lead of capacitor and common plus terminal of converter, storage battery and low-voltage circuits. First input of electronic switch is connected with output of pulse power consumption sensor, its second input is connected with output of voltage sensor, third input is connected through additional current-limiting resistor with plus pole of capacitor, first input of voltage sensor and cathode of diode. Output of electronic switch is connected with plus poles of converter, storage battery and low-voltage circuits, first input of pulse power consumption sensor and, through current-limiting resistor, with anode of diode. Second input of pulse power consumption sensor is connected with second input of voltage sensor and common minus pole of converter, storage battery, capacitor and low-voltage circuits of street car.
EFFECT: improved reliability of release of brake of street cars at starting from halt, provision of repeated application of rail and emergency brakes, reduced capacity of storage battery.
